About Us

About Dr. Rauch
Dr. Rauch is a native of Brooklyn, New York and a Connecticut resident since 1976. He graduated from the University of Bridgeport with a B.A. in psychology in 1972, and then Georgetown Dental School in 1976. Dr. Rauch worked for a multidisciplinary practice for two years and then opened his Milford office in 1978. He married Diana in 1979, and now they have three children: Lauren, Michael and Bryan.

Further education:
Advanced post-graduate training courses in the specialty fields of cosmetic dentistry, implantology, endodontics and prosthetic dentistry.

Educating others:

Lectures to community groups, public schools, and seniors meetings concerning modern dental techniques.
Lectures to professional groups concerning cosmetic dentistry and practice management.
Lectures to New Haven and Fones schools of dental hygiene annually concerning patient communication skills.
Lectures to community preschools during National Children's Dental Health Month promoting good oral hygiene.
Has been interviewed on over 100 television and radio shows across the country.
Has produced and directed his own television show "Taking the Mystery Out Of Medicine" from 1995 to 2000.
Has published several books including "SMILE: Be true to your teeth and they will never be false to you."
His book "Spiritual Signs and Lessons of a Survivor" can be found on amazon.com
He has also published several articles for national periodicals.

Member of the Connecticut State Dental Association since 1976
Member of the Milford Dental Association since 1979
Inducted into the prestigious International College of Dentists in 1998
Inducted into the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Society in 1998

Local Involvements:

Elected twice to serve on his local Orange board of education, and served for seven years.
Appointed to the original OGAT committee to develop guidelines for quality community access programming in Orange.
Managed baseball, softball and soccer teams in his community from 1987 to 2002.

Hobbies Include: skiing, biking, writing, tennis and magic.
